Fun factoid today, who is the Rock, the little rock, the supreme head of church…
Good morning,
(Trying to email this but my email provider keeps blocking this as spam, yeesh what a world.)
Question: What do St. Peter’s Catholic attribution, the Pope (and every Pope) and the King of England all have in common?
“Charles’ mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, made history in 1961 as the first reigning British monarch to formally visit the Vatican since the Reformation.
Britain formally split from the Catholic Church when King Henry VIII formed the Church of England in 1534, declaring himself the supreme head of the church. As king, Charles holds the same title today, making his upcoming visit one of both church and state.”
The claim. They all are said to be, or claim the title as (supreme) head of the church.
Silly people. Jesus is the head of the church!!! And He is the only supreme!
And since Jesus is “The Rock”, being the “little rock” is saying a lot about Peter.
Best regards,
Phil
