1 x 10hr Pre-Paid Time Block towards website design, development and consultation services used in .25hr increments. Any unused portion of time will be carried over indefinitely for future use.

Work completed:

On 9/26/25 (3.5hr) – Phone call w/ Janet and Farzad discussing the web site needs as follows.

1. Removed Instagram widget from the home header.
2. Corrected the home and alternate header menus drop-down text color (white) when sticky
3. Fixed Footer scroll to top, Move away from chat bubble, end up moving it to an icon w/ text link next to copyright, fixed social media icons and contact buttons off screen partially in mobile. 
4. Fixed ready 2 ship budget boxes where white text is desired on blue buttons/make consistent format (border radius, colors, padding) but also corrected the inner accordion buttons as well and for each inner accordion button adjusted it’s icon list for a more pleasing esthetic.

To do:
1. Create a Mortuary Market Segment page (Janet will provide content)
2. Create a Replacement Doors page: heading > image (s) > pdf form download (similar to Ready to Ship Budget Boxes page)
3. Add testimonials (look in backend/removed from home page?)

On 10/7/25 (2.25hr) – Created a new market segment page Mortuary Walk-In Coolers & Freezers and copied page elements from other existing segments and replaced copy w/ generic text, set to private and published so that Janet can work on it and sent Janet an email with instructions and a link (she offered to fill in the content). I also performed updates (as much I could) on site plugins.

On 10/30/25 (1.5hr) – Created a new Replacement Doors page and added a title, description text, a few door images and a button to request a quote to give the page some copy so we can later adjust as needed. Looked around for any existing Testimonial modules but could not find any but I did find a post type defined as testimonials along with several posts already published so I then created a new testimonials page (not linked in the site menu system yet) so I could create a testimonial slider module and style it and then emailed this along with links to the new Replacement Doors page over to Janet. I also performed some plugin updates.

On 11/19/25 (3hr) – Janet sent an email w/ a request from Jason to get the website WordPress core current. Due to many older plugins, some of which require a license to be purchased before updating and the installed WP Bakery and BeTheme modules known to have issues w/ later core versions the site has not been updated in a while outside of security patches. I performed a site backup, approx. 4gb when completed and then began updating plugins. Several would not update or even show available updates without a higher PHP version installed in the web server. I then logged into the FastComet hosting account and updated PHP versions one step at a time, checking after each to ensure the site did not appear to break. I was able to successfully update from v7.4.33 to v8.3 and upon updating to a higher PHP version several plugins and WordPress core revealed updates were available. I updated each plugin, again testing the front end after each to ensure the site appeared stable. I also fixed some visibility issues on the home page w/ an outer frame that was visible within the home page hero background video and also removed an empty image widget at the bottom that was loading a placeholder image. I began incrementally updating WordPress core and informed Janet that I have exceeded the time block needing more time on the books to complete the process.
