1 x 10hr Pre-Paid Time Block towards website design, development and consultation services used in .25hr increments. Any unused portion of time will be carried over indefinitely for future use.

    Work completed:

    On 1/23/23 (.25hr) – time exceeded from previous time block – tellatek.com/web-invoice/bf6ce28fc93774cc763b4cd7522e2f47/

On 1/24/23 (4.5hr) – Received response from BeTheme and worked w/ support to update the ace website. We created a staging site and then I was instructed to upload the theme via WordPress add new theme mechanism vs manually overwriting the folder because the former method includes built in WordPress install/update routines that run background processes that update data in the database and other utility functions. Verified after updating the theme using this method that the front end is less broken than before but there are still issues throughout. The header is missing the business name and telephone number call to action, the logo and the CTA tab images are not visible, the service icons are squished and word wrap, the locations pages have double check marks and 2 different blue backgrounds and the specials page causes a fatal error and lastly accessing the admin area is also now broken. Worked w/ BeTheme support to identify child theme no longer loads its style.css file which is why the logo and home page tab images are missing, updated functions.php and add some custom css to fix the home page tabs “steps” being disconnected from the upper tabs area. Updated custom css to fix the service icons in the footer making them wider and fixing the word wrapping of the text and add custom css to fix the business name and phone number missing its color and positioning formatting. Worked w/ BeTheme to fix the broken back end and found that our staging plugin didn’t remove a flag from the database which locked admin access but still accessing admin resulted in a “not allowed” message. Worked w/ BeTheme support trying multiple things and eventually discovered a mess load of tables in the database using an old wp_ prefix on the tables when they should be ace_ as a result of the migration split w/ beach. Used phpMyAdmin to manually search and replace all tables starting w/ wp_ to ace_ and was able to access the back end again. Updated favicon image via options.php from HostGator image to ChemDry version. Reenabled missing Action Bar on certain pages and fix multiple visual issues like the locations pages bullet points w/ custom css. BeTheme support cannot help w/ the broken specials page as this was built outside of BeTheme but the site is now fully up to date. Updated theme functions.php and created a new specials.php file of which I moved all of the “specials” functions and removed the custom page template now causing a fatal error so that the page loads without the custom “specials” loop and instead loads a normal blank WordPress page. I used the new BeTheme Builder to create a new wp_content section above the footer “specials” category/icon blocks, saved and reopened in Elementor and populated the wp_content section w/ a new Posts element and then created a new Posts Template and worked through all the motions to style them just like the original with logo, title, supporting text and print button.  I created multiple Posts blocks, 1 for each category type and add the necessary category titles and lastly added the script the enables the “print me” capability.

On 1/24/23 (.75hr) – Created new staging site for “beach” and went through the above process to update the theme, then edit the database where necessary. With the child theme being copied all custom css updates were complete and tested the front end to confirm everything looks to be in good working order on both sites. Performed backups locally and externally on each of the sites so we have a new base starting/roll back option just in case.  Email Keith and Nate of completion.

On 1/27/23 (1hr) – Replace logo w/ “Auto Accident Chiropractor- Coral Springs, FL.” and customize the size, weight, color and drop shadow to wrap in the appropriate places for each of the mobile breakpoints and adjust the background image to improve readability and some mobile refinements to the header spacing. Also swapped out the primary image w/ a near identical size image carousel w/ 3 images of Keiths choosing.

On 1/30/23 (3.25hr) – Worked w/ Keith to assess new lander for Bay Wellness Centre and gain clarity on the scope as well as the content/copy to be used as there is not much for the chiropractor campaign. Dr Annie Savage replied back with topics of interest and bullet points to be used. I quickly assessed some potential problems w/ the existing WordPress website as it is using an old theme w/ a lot of old plugins, many of which are redundant and there are a lot of redundant or similar Google Analytics scripts. I backed up and processed approx. 20 updates and confirmed the server’s memory, PHP version, etc. preparing the system and then installed Elementor and Elementor Pro and completing the licensing connection. I then created a new page titled Lander and attempted to run Elementor but it failed w/ a javascript error in the console but I was able to run it in Safe Mode. I then imported my landing page assets and began to work through each part of the page, choosing and placing images based on representation and color scheme, matching the site colors, fonts and overall aesthetics and then searching copy text for the 6 topics Annie provided, updated the web form email, company address, phone and email and putting some final touches based on different sized devices. Installed 2 scripts, one for the web for ‘submit_success’ event and another for click events on telephone number links. Sent Keith an email w/ link to review.

On 1/31/23 (.25hr) – Worked w/ Keith over the phone to quickly review the lander and a bit of the back end as well as swapped out the H1 title tag for a normal heading widget which we then setup identically, loading the site title but allows for full editing if Keith so desires. Will finish setting up scripts after gaining clarity from Keith to just install in addition to what already exists.

On 1/31/23 (.5hr) – Installed final 2 Google scripts and setup all 4 scripts so they will only load on the lander per Keith’s instruction. Removed 1 of the scripts from the Code Snippets plugin area so it would not load site wide nor be modifying anything outside of the lander. I did however have to update several plugins to get Elementor working, while still, in Safe Mode. Emailed Keith of completion.
