CRITICAL INFORMATION regarding IPKII PVA cards

Here is some information regarding newer PVA cards for the IPKII are Lot#G. These cards come pre-loaded from the NEC Warehouse with Service Pack SP01Y.

DO NOT attempt to downgrade these cards to a Service Pack below this level.

Trouble Summary:
If the CPU is off-line for any amount of time, the Elitemail will not boot back up with the switch.
In the past NEC instructed techs to install the voicemail card while the cabinet was off-line. However, now the only way to get the vmp, vms, fms, cms, or eCTI LX Lite to come online is by inserting the card with the ‘make busy’ switch down, and the KSU powered up and completely

Trouble Summary:
When a site of only 20 to 30 stations utilizes the Directory Dial Feature they can sometimes scroll through up to 200+ extensions before finding the station they are looking for. If the station/virtual is removed from CM 11-02/11-04 the station number still appears in the directory dialing with questions marks in the name field.

Trouble Summary:
When an IPK II transfers a CCIS or ISDN call that only has Caller ID number (no name) to a IPK or PBX it will show the caller ID with all but the last two digits.

Trouble Summary:
If you have all calls DIL to a virtual and answer the first call the second call will not display the caller ID.

Trouble Summary:
When using caller ID edit mode a 9 is added in front of the caller ID on ISDN inbound calls. This does not happen to the caller ID on analog trunks.

Trouble Summary:
An issue has been found when internal paging is activated when dialing 701 and the zone or pressing the page button.
At least once a week internal paging will seen to work but there is no speech path. All phones indicate that a all internal page has been attempted but you can not announce over any phone. The CPU has to be reset for internal paging to start working.

When the PVA loaded with the CNF16 package is installed in SIMPLE MODE – 16 Port, the default conference passwords are failing.
