I do believe you attract what you are and I truly do believe in being a servant with my skills. I treat every customer with a business owner mentality and that builds loyalty and longevity!

1. Get my company Great White Technologies off the ground and self sustaining
2. Provide unequaled service to customers
3. Create lasting realtionships that are beneficial for both the customer and my company
4. Increase my knowledge through reading and networking.

Where you are a year from now depends on the people you meet and the books you read. I don't know who said this but I believe it.

As far as the power of positive thinking, I believe this to be true. 1.5 years ago I was grossing $65k and I read the Secret and started thinking to myself that I was going to be grossing $100k within 3 years. Well a year and a half later I hit that goal. Now I aim higher in shorter time frames.

The major difference in the Secret and Think and Grow Rich is that the Secret says think positive and the other one says think positive also but it also goes on to say there is no free lunch. You do not get something for nothing. While you are thinking about your goals you also need to think about what you are willing to give in order to reach those goals.

The economy is bad as we all know. Fortunately for us in the telecom world, phone systems have proven to be an imperative piece of the pie for most businesses. Although new installations may be down, the service side of things will never die. I mean, hey, I might not want to install brand new copper piping in my entire house but I'm probably going to need to call a plumber every once in awhile.

I'm also a firm believer in scratching each other's backs. I've never had a real cut throat mentality. Unfortunately, I do realize that some of the most successful businessmen do. I'm all about paying it forward and reciprocating kind deeds. I'm an Inter-tel tech personally. Like most techs, I have no problem moving jumpers or troubleshooting connections on most phone systems. Programming is a different story however and this is where referral work would come into play. I'm keeping a running list of techs that know different systems.

Little bit of a tangent, sorry…..

Goals for 2009

1. Get my company SoCal Phone Pros off the ground running by increasing my customer base.
2. Making strong industry connections (networking) so as to also increase my resources.
3. Like Phil, increase the involvement in my forum website. (Please see signature)
4. Make my forum a viable resource for fellow tech guys to ask, answer, and discuss phone systems.
