Toshiba DK 40, DK40i, DK280, DK424 and DK424i
Program name and extension in display:
- DO NOT LIFT THE HANDSET
- Press intercom button “#” key & “621“.
- Press the “#” key to access alpha characters.
- Press “*” or “1” to move the cursor to the desired position.
- Press the button that has the letter you wish to enter. Use the “0 key to shift from letter to letter on the button.
- If you would like to enter a number, press the “#” key to change from alpha characters to numeric. Press the “#” key again to return to alpha.
- The following special characters are set by pressing “1” and then pressing “0” to step through the available characters: Q Z : + – /
- When you have finished entering all of your information press “Redial then Spkr” to complete your programming transaction.
Detailed features:
- The “1” button moves the cursor to the right; it is also used to access special characters and to enter “blanks” in the alpha mode.
- The “*” key moves the cursor to the left.
- The “#” key alternates between alpha and numeric characters.
- Each button on your keypad has three letters that are used in messaging/programming user name & ext. The “0” button is used to shift between the three letters on each alpha button; it is also used to access special characters as explained above.
