You can click the following link to enhance the reading of this article: Reading Blinds.

Trouble Summary:
When the PVA loaded with the CNF16 package is installed in SIMPLE MODE – 16 Port, the default conference passwords are failing.

Trouble Symptom:
Load the attached database. Install a PVA loaded with SP01Q and PVA CNF package version 2.00. Dial the pilot of the CNF (390). While listening to the greeting, enter 111111#, notice you will get a greeting telling you that the password was invalid. Hang up and dial the pilot again, wait for the greeting to finish, then enter 111111#, notice it will work fine.
Now hang up and dial 390 again, while listening to the greeting, enter seven ones (1111111#) and notice that it will work fine. The CNF is allowing you to dial a digit and interrupt the greeting, but the interruption digit is not being recognized as a valid digit.

    Modification Treatment:

  • Wait for password prompt to complete before dialing
