Field Report – Conference PVA won’t Answer DID

12 September 2007 View Comments

You can click the following link to enhance the reading of this article: Reading Blinds.

Trouble Summary:
DID pointed directly to Department Group Pilot for Conference Bridge on PVA does not get answered.

Trouble Symptom:
Load the attached database labeled (TEST1). This is a database created in the NTAC lab with the bare minimum amount of programming. The CNF16 card is a PVA with SPO1Q and PVA CNF package version 2.00. Make an inbound DID call pulsing the digits (390) which is pointed to (390 – the pilot of Department Group 5) which is where the CNF port extensions are assigned. Notice you will get ring-no answer. Same result if the DID call is answered by an extension and then transferred to 390 you will get ring-no-answer.

    Modification Treatment:

  • Go into programing to PRG 10-08-01 and disable PRE-RINGING.
